Frequently asked questions

How do I search for GIF stickers?

Type any keyword — Chinese or English — on the Search tab and results appear instantly. If one word gives you nothing good, try a different word or tap for a random batch; there is always another expression for the moment.

Search shows no results / fails to load

Results come live from an image search backend over the network. The app retries automatically and offers a one-tap Retry button. Check your connection and try a simpler keyword (e.g. happy, 开心).

How do favorites work?

Tap any GIF to save it to Favorites. The Favorites tab badge shows your live count. Favorites are stored only on your device — there is no account and no cloud sync, so deleting the app removes them permanently.

How do I share to WeChat, Moments, QQ, or Weibo?

Open a GIF and use the Share button. The iOS system share sheet offers WeChat, Moments, QQ, Weibo, Copy, and Save in one place:

Why does the app ask for photo library access?

Only for features you trigger yourself:

The app never scans or uploads your existing photos.

Can I import my own GIFs?

Yes. Use the Import entry to pick GIFs or images from your photo library and grow your own sticker inventory.

Why am I seeing ads?

Emoji King GIF is free and funded by ads (banner + interstitial) via Google AdMob. Debug builds show Google test ads; release builds show production ads. Where required (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent form is shown before personalized ads are served. Details: Privacy Policy.

Dark Mode and language

The interface adapts to Dark Mode automatically and follows your device language (English / 中文). No setting to toggle — just use iOS as usual.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone, portrait orientation. There is no Android version.
